Temporary and Part-time Position
May 5 - July 31, 2025 (Potential Extension through August 31)
The Choice is partnering with a business Association in Tysons Corner on a search for a Temporary Administrative Grants Assistant to provide essential administrative and program support for a long-standing foundation initiative that is in its final phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for program ambassadors and grant recipients via email and phone.
- Prepare, package, and mail grant-related materials.
- Track outreach, communications, and updates using internal systems and spreadsheets.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with light reporting as needed.
- Handle sensitive documents and information with the utmost discretion.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth and timely execution of program wrap-up tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of administrative or program support experience, ideally in an association or nonprofit setting.
- Prior experience with grant processing or financial documentation is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with databases is a plus.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, public administration, nonprofit management, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when dealing with external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and team-oriented mindset.
