This position will be required to travel between racetracks in East Rutherford, NJ and Oceanport, NJ. The salary for this position will fall within the range of $98,268.16 to $140,353.06. Title and salary offered is non-negotiable and will fall within the range posted.

The Attorney General has broad oversight of the state’s legal and law enforcement matters. As the head of the Department of Law & Public Safety, the Attorney General supervises a wide range of Divisions, Offices, and Commissions, consisting of over 2,800 sworn law enforcement officers, 600 attorneys, and thousands of other public servants.
ABOUT THE DIVISION:
The New Jersey Racing Commission (NJRC) regulates horse racing in New Jersey. NJRC is a nine-member, bipartisan body appointed by Governor, staffed by a team of career employees who oversee the permitting and licensing procedures of horse owners, trainers, drivers, and veterinarians.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Racing Operations within the New Jersey Racing Commission the Veterinarian is responsible for:

Applicants must meet one of the following or a combination of both experience and education. Thirty (30) semester hour credits are equal to one (1) year of relevant experience.
