About Black Dog Philanthropic
Black Dog Philanthropic was founded in 2022 with small- to mid-size nonprofits in mind. Our mission is to make specialized philanthropic consulting accessible to all, one organization at a time. After a tremendous year of growth in 2024, Black Dog Philanthropic seeks its first-ever Development Manager. This position is currently part-time (15-20 hours per week) with the potential to grow into a full-time position.
While the day-to-day operations of this position are fully remote, candidates must live in the DC/Maryland/Northern Virginia area to meet with clients on occasion.
About the Position
The Development Manager will support Black Dog Philanthropic’s fundraising and development efforts by assisting with grant and donor prospecting, assisting with the preparation of proposals and materials for nonprofit clients, and managing administrative tasks. This position will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s operations and will contribute to building strong relationships with clients and their stakeholders.
