Are you passionate about making a difference in the nonprofit sector? Join our dynamic team as a Contract Grant Writer and play a crucial role in transforming lives through strategic funding! We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in grant writing to support our mission-driven initiatives. As our Contract Grant Writer, you will be instrumental in securing vital funding that empowers a diverse range of nonprofit organizations—from the arts and health to early childhood education—to achieve their goals and make a lasting impact in their communities.
Your primary responsibility will be to create high-quality grant proposals and reports that effectively communicate the goals and impact of the organizations we support. You should have a knack for storytelling and a solid understanding of various funding sources. A detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting tight deadlines are essential.
As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while committing 30–40 hours per week to this role. While you will have autonomy in structuring your workflow, consistent availability to meet project deadlines and collaborate effectively is essential. Unlike employees, independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes and benefits, but this arrangement allows you to take on multiple projects and tailor your workday to your needs. This role is ideal for individuals who are self-directed and thrive in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
If you're ready to make a significant impact, please send your resume and two successful grant samples to admin@pcgstrategy.com. A skills assessment may include a writing exercise or a review of your grant writing techniques as part of the final-stage interview process. We anticipate this position starting in early June. If you are enthusiastic about helping organizations thrive through funding opportunities, we would love to have you join our team!
