Associate (Consultant)

Bash Advisory seeks an Associate to assist social impact organizations in identifying philanthropic champions to advance their missions.

As an Associate, you will collaborate with a diverse team of experts in providing strategic guidance and support to our clients, strengthening their capacity to achieve their missions and drive positive change in their communities. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in research, analysis, and project management to help nonprofits navigate complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective philanthropic supporters with strong affinity for clients’ missions
• Develop research briefs, funder and donor pipelines, donor matrices, and moves management plans
• Provide high-level administrative support to a portfolio of clients, including coordinating meetings with project leads, creating agendas, compiling post-meeting action items, and drafting outreach materials (emails, letters, one-pagers, etc.)
• Develop proposal narratives that offer a compelling case for supporting organizational programs
• Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• A minimum of one year working within a nonprofit organization
• Strong research skills, with ability to compile information in an easy-to-digest format
• Superior organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to complete tasks in a systematic manner
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills, and established writing skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment and with diverse internal and external partners
• Flexibility and the ability to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines
• Ability to represent Bash Advisory professionally and positively at all times, bringing the highest quality service and professionalism to the clients’ experiences
