    Description

    The Program Assistant will engage in various activities that align with their skills and

    interests. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the empowerment of

    women from diverse backgrounds through education and a holistic approach. The Program

    Assistant will also develop essential professional skills, including writing, project

    management, prioritization, teamwork, presentation skills, and drafting.

    The assistant will work across multiple projects and operational areas of the organization.

    Virtual: Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. for classes

    In-person: Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

    Expected start day: February 3rd to June 13

    RESPONSIBILITIES: This list outlines key responsibilities but is not exhaustive. Other duties

    may be assigned as needed:

    1. Support the development and implementation of program activities.
    2. Assist with survey distribution, data collection, and analysis.
    3. Prepare reports based on survey results.
    4. Ensure all necessary student documents are signed and payments are processed.
    5. Maintain and manage participation lists.
    6. Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings.
    7. Provide student support through office hours, addressing inquiries, and sending communications via email and WhatsApp.
    8. Assist students, tutors, mentors and volunteers with administrative tasks as needed.
    9. Set up classrooms for online, in-person, and yoga/dance classes.
    10. Contribute to special projects, community events, and content dissemination.
    11. Create social media content, including videos and photos, for Women Palante’s accounts.
    12. Assist in preparing and executing the graduation ceremonies.
    13. Provide general administrative support and project management.
    14. Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical filing systems, including emails and Google Classroom.
    15. Perform additional duties as directed by the Program Coordinator and CEO

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Background in Business Management, Administration, or related fields.
    • Fluency in Spanish and English, with strong drafting and communication skills in both languages.
    • Proficiency in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Canva, and a willingness or ability to learn Google Classroom.
