Participants stay with local families in either villages or cities, enjoying a private room with essential furniture. Meals, served three times daily, feature Dal Bhat Tarkari, a cornerstone of Nepali cuisine.
In city areas, host families typically provide Wi-Fi, western toilets, and hot showers. Village homestays may have limited access to these facilities, offering a unique experience that compensates for any limitations.
For water, participants can purchase bottled water locally or request filtered or boiled water from host families, ensuring hydration needs are met.
