Saranac Lakes Wild Forest

Morgan Duke Conservation Society is seeking individuals, groups, and students to volunteer at Saranac Lakes Wild Forest during the spring, summer, and fall months. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects such as trail maintenance, litter cleanup, and community clean-up events. No experience or skills are required, and volunteers will receive support, free supplies, and Workers Comp.

Projects:

• Walk around trailheads, parking lots, beaches, and lakes to pick up litter
• Conduct science by documenting the type of litter collected and reporting trail conditions
• Assist with painting trail gates
• Organize community clean-up events
