    Description

    Agriculture & rural development Trainer

Stop Child Abuse (SCA) is recruiting a dedicated Agriculture and Rural Development Volunteer to support our initiatives in the Kakuma and Kalobeyei Refugee Camps.

Our mission is to promote sustainable family agriculture to improve food security and foster inclusive economic growth for refugee households in Kenya.

As a volunteer trainer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the agricultural practices of families within the camps. Your focus will be on three key areas:

    1. **Improving Farm Production**: Training families on best practices for increasing the volume and quality of their crops.
    2. **Supporting Processing and Marketing**: Assisting families in developing skills for processing, storing, and effectively marketing their agricultural products.
    3. **Enhancing Access**: Contributing to initiatives aimed at rehabilitating rural roads and river ferries to facilitate better access to production areas.

We are looking for someone with a background in agriculture, rural development, or related fields who is passionate about empowering communities. If you are ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of refugee families and support sustainable development, we encourage you to join our mission.
