    Project Name:

    Using sporting activities as a means to attract, develop and retain young girls in schools.

    Project Goal:

    • To bridge the gender gap between boys and girls of school going age.
    • To promote/increase early enrollment of girls in schools.

    Project Objectives:

    • To increase, retain and improve the academic standard of girls.
    • Reduce teenage pregnancy and early marriage.
    • To obviate the myth and misconceptions that girls who participate in sports will not be considered for marriage, have no children and will not do well academically.

    Responsibility:

    Your responsibility as a WW-Ghana volunteer will be to help meet the project objectives.

    WWI-Ghana has volunteer vacancies for volunteers with experience in the following sports disciplines: football, hand ball, net ball, volley ball and table tennis.
