    Description

Nonprofit Overnight Camp - End of Season Cleanup! #911Day

The DREAM Program is doing work to close the opportunity gap for youth who are growing up in low-income housing communities. One of the ways that we do this is by providing free overnight camp for youth aged 8-18 throughout our regions (Boston, Philadelphia, and Vermont).

Our Camp season has just closed out for the year, and we are hoping to have volunteers arrive at our camp property to help us tidy up after a busy summer, and do some needed projects across our 50-acre property to prepare for the upcoming Fall season.

These projects are often physical in nature, and require comfort doing work in the outdoors, navigating trails that may be rocky or muddy, and lifting objects around 20 lbs. If you are interested in supporting us on this day of service but are worried about the accessibility of the projects available, please feel free to contact us to learn if we have projects available that would be right for you.

This day also aligns with the ribbon cutting for our recently-acquired island on Metcalf Pond! We invite all volunteers to join us for this special event,

After concluding projects and the ribbon-cutting, we'll have a BBQ feast provided for volunteers and time to connect with others who have given their time to support Camp and DREAM for the day.
