The Mission

Volunteer Roles & Activities

• 📚 Storytelling Coordinator: Help seniors share life stories, memories, and cultural traditions with younger participants.
• 🎨 Creative Arts Facilitator: Organize painting, craft, and music sessions where generations collaborate on creative projects.
• 💻 Tech Mentor: Teach seniors basic technology skills, such as using smartphones, social media, and video calls.
• 👩‍🍳 Cooking & Gardening Partner: Host shared cooking sessions where seniors teach traditional recipes, or set up community gardens.
• 🧩 Game Leader: Introduce board games, puzzles, or sports activities that both generations can enjoy together.

What You’ll Do

• Pair seniors and youth in mentorship-style relationships to exchange knowledge and skills.
• Lead fun and educational workshops combining the interests of both age groups.
• Organize community events celebrating generational harmony, such as cultural festivals or talent shows.
• Create platforms for dialogue, helping to address stereotypes and improve communication.
• Capture and document the shared experiences to inspire others to participate.

Volunteer Fee

A $600 fee covers:

✅ Training on intergenerational program facilitation.

✅ Materials for creative activities, events, and workshops.

✅ Accommodation and meals during the program.
