    Job Title: Volunteer Director of International Learning

    Location: Remote

    Start Date: ASAPSTEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.OVERVIEW:

    Are you passionate about advancing STEM education at the university level? To spearhead projects, cultivate scholarly collaborations, and promote interaction with faculty and students, we are looking for a committed University STEM Program Coordinator. This volunteer role presents a special chance to encourage creativity, strengthen ties between academia and business, and advance STEM education quality.DUTIES:

    • Provide strategic leadership in developing international Medical Science education initiatives.
    • Identify and build international partnerships with global academic institutions, industry leaders, and community organizations.
    • Develop resources to guide and engage students towards our global medical science education experiences.
    • Design and implement international engagement programs for students.
    • Manage international partnerships to create learning opportunities for students.
    • Develop pathways for international collaboration, exchanges, and virtual learning opportunities.
    • Represent STEM Canada at international conferences, educational events, and networking forums.
    • Ensure all international initiatives align with STEM Canada’s policies and goals.
    • Promote global learning, diversity, and cross-cultural collaboration among students and educators.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience or Degree in education or a STEM-related area.
    • Enrolled in post-secondary education or relevant experience in education, global relations, or international partnerships.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Passion for education, international engagement, and student development.
    • Previous experience in partnership development or program management is an asset.
