Volunteer Digital Animator for a Global Storytelling Project
Are you passionate about storytelling and animation? Do you want to use your creative skills to help amplify powerful stories while building your portfolio?
Creshendo is a global nonprofit using storytelling to highlight the experiences of refugees and migrants. We’re looking for a volunteer digital animator to create short, simple 1-2 second animations for our social media. These animations will serve as engaging visuals to draw people in and encourage them to explore the full stories we share.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating small, bite-sized animations (1-2 seconds) that highlight key moments from our stories.
- Working as part of a collaborative team, alongside our project manager and social media artist.
- Gaining insight from professional animators, who will be handling our full-length animated episodes.
- Using creative visuals to help tell stories in a way that resonates with audiences.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone with experience in animation, whether through coursework, personal projects, freelance work, or previous roles.
- A creative storyteller who understands how to use visuals to capture emotion and engage audiences.
- Proficient in animation software, including AI-assisted tools.
- Independent and reliable, able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Eager to enhance their portfolio while working on meaningful projects.
