Volunteer College Coach

Are you looking for a flexible volunteer opportunity? Join ScholarMatch as a virtual College Coach today!

ScholarMatch is an education nonprofit that provides free, virtual, individualized college and career advising to underserved first-generation students nationwide. Volunteer College Coaches guide ScholarMatch students through the college application process, supporting them as they build college lists, draft essays, apply for financial aid, and more.

Requirements:

• Be a college graduate
• Be eager to mentor 1-3 students through the college application process between September 2024 - June 2025
• Be available an average of 4-6 hours per month to support students remotely
• Complete and pass a background check
• Complete and pass our Training Modules that provide more detailed information about our work and the student populations we serve
