    About Us:

    Abilities Travel Club is an organization dedicated to providing travel opportunities for people with disabilities and seniors since 2017. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Travel Companion to join our team.

    Job Summary:

    As a Travel Companion volunteer, you will provide support and assistance to our travelers with disabilities and/or seniors during trips, ensuring their safety, comfort, and enjoyment. If you have a passion for travel, working with people with disabilities, and making a difference, we encourage you to apply.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accompany travelers with disabilities and/or seniors on trips, providing support and assistance as needed
    • Assist with daily activities, such as mobility, mealtime, and personal care
    • Provide emotional support and companionship to travelers
    • Communicate effectively with travelers, staff, and transportation providers
    • Ensure travelers' safety and well-being at all times
    • Follow Abilities Travel Club policies and procedures
    • Report to the Founder, Owner, & President

    Requirements:

    • Reliable transportation (ability to drive or access to transportation)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Patience, empathy, and understanding
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Know how to talk to people
    • Resume required
