    Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival Volunteers - April 11-13 & 18-20, 2025

    The Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival is completely volunteer run. Every year, we rely on 500+ volunteers to help produce our Festival, plus a group of 40+ volunteers working year-round. To make our upcoming Festival a success, we need your help!

    Volunteers come back every year to donate their precious time and gain valuable work skills in committees ranging from logistics (event production) to the Grand Parade. We invite people of all ages and skills. Please let us know if you are bilingual in written and/or spoken Japanese. Opportunities to support our annual event are described below.

    April 11 & 18 - Set Up Dates

    • Assist staff with setting up the The Center on Sutter St, KOHO and Union Bank Community Room in the East Mall

    April 12, 13, 19, & 20 - Festival Dates

    • Delivering and setting up barricades, tables, chairs, and other supplies
    • Setting up, maintaining, and organizing green compost, black trashw, and blue recycle bins
    • Sweeping the area for beautification
    • Securing areas around the festival
    • Gate & traffic monitoring
    • Other requests as needed
