    Grants Manager

    Healwise (formerly Therapy4thePeople) is searching for a volunteer Grants Manager to join our team of committed volunteers. This is an exciting, highly impactful opportunity to help us more efficiently serve people seeking out education about and access to affordable mental health services.

    As Grants Manager, you will have a rare opportunity to play a key role in building a growing nonprofit organization. We’re on a mission to eliminate the mental health access gap by creating a platform that connects help-seekers with affordable mental health services. Our Grants Manager will play a central role in our work by matching the organization’s work to opportunities for funding, and successfully pursuing and winning support from grantmaking organizations.

    * Please note: This is a volunteer, remote opportunity. We’re looking for someone able to contribute roughly 12 hours per month for a one-year term at minimum. *

    What You’ll Do as Grants Manager

    • Conduct research to identify grant opportunities that align with our mission
    • Lead the drafting and submission of grant proposals, ensuring adherence to guidelines
    • Monitor and report on use of grant funding, ensuring transparency and accountability and supporting the development of long-term relationships with funders
    • Deploy strategies to maximize grant funding and support our financial goals

    You Would Be a Great Fit for This Role If:

    • Passionate about our mission
    • Experienced in grants management, including research, writing, and reporting
    • Comfortable working in a remote environment with different volunteer work schedules

    What Will Help You Stand Out

    • Previous experience in a nonprofit or mental health field
    • Strong network and experience in fundraising and development
    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
    • Experience leveraging generative AI to craft compelling stories
