Short-term fundraising project: Social Justice and Impact nonprofit (fiscally sponsored in the USA) is seeking a probono / volunteer Fundraiser who has extensive relationships and experience with international development and philanthropy funders committed to transformative Peace, Equity, Livelihoods, Nonprofit Sector Strengthening, Economic Development, Gender and Climate work in West Africa Region.
This short-term assignment is to help secure funding for short-medium term operational and staffing costs.
There will be longer-term opportunities to collaborate on unrestricted, flexible, long-term funding. However, this current Volunteering assignment will suit an individual interested in applying their expertise and opening up funder networks towards decolonization, supporting proximate leaders, shifting power and wealth redistribution to achieve greater equality and justice in the World.

Volunteer will have over 5 years' experience, be a self-starter, with an interest in Diversity, Equality, Social Justice for Africa with a shared passion for the nonprofit's causes.
Ideal volunteer should be willing to:
- leverage own network to support a locally-led African nonprofit fiscally sponsored in the USA
- develop a plan and execute targeted outreach to secure grant support from 1-3 major donors
- access and unlock 'low-hanging' relationships and opportunities with funder networks
- leverage their own networks of individual funders/ donors - especially emerging Philanthropists, Advisors etc
- reach out to donors with an interest in learning and doing more in West Africa to diversify global giving
- commit to a 3-6 month basis to achieve the desired outcome for the nonprofit
- demonstrate extensive networks and experience to achieve desired outcome in a relatively simple, short-term basis as a starting point
