    ABOUT ChromaLearn: Founded in 2023, ChromaLearn is dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth through quality education, fostering growth through guidance and mentorship, and providing exposure to invaluable knowledge and opportunities—all while ensuring everything remains free and accessible. In our first year, we have laid a strong foundation by assembling a team of passionate professionals alongside high school and college students, creating a unique dynamic for making a meaningful impact. We initiated a free online 1-on-1 tutoring with successful high school student tutors and aim to expand our services by launching additional helpful programs to change the lives of our future generations.

    • NOTE - This role is operational in function; not a technical/computer science data role.

    How this role can contribute/will impact our organization: This staff member will research and identify areas where the organization can make a meaningful impact, analyze community needs, and align them with our mission to create and sustain innovative programs. With a focus on tutoring, mentorship, or financial literacy, you will collaborate with board members and other relevant stakeholders to establish connections and refine ideas to design feasible execution(s) that align with organizational goals by -

    • Taking charge of designing, developing, planning, creating frameworks of the programs and using the Program Manager’s or other stakeholder feedback to enhance the design of the program.
    • Generating program expansion ideas, planning concepts annually, evaluating their practicality, and providing recommendations on implementation towards youth/student demographic.
    • Periodically assessing program effectiveness, collecting and analyzing feedback to refine impact, and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement.
    • Fostering cross-functional collaboration and support the evaluation of programs proposed by the CEO or COO
    • Playing a key role in ensuring the successful development and execution of initiatives that empower underserved communities.

    Qualifications & Experience Necessary for the Role:

    • Able to commit a minimum of 5-8 hours a week for 3-6 months & based in the United States
    • Proven experience, interest, or knowledge in designing and implementing programs, project management, workflows, event planning, LMS systems, or operational systems for organizations. (Legal/Compliance background in regards to minors also helpful but *not* mandatory)
    • Available to respond to emails/messaging/inquiries within 24 hours
    • Knowledge of our tools/software helpful or willingness to learn (i.e. PMS Systems, Slack, Canva Pro, Google Workspace, etc.)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders.

    Volunteer Perks: We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is fully run by an unpaid/volunteer staff. Although volunteers are not given a direct monetary stipend for their time commitment, our team members choose to volunteer with us for various reasons that include but are not limited to – gaining experience for their resume, to learn about the inner workings of a nonprofit, they desire to take part in community service, they want to pursue an opportunity to build out current/new skills, the networking aspects of volunteering, or they simply resonate with the mission/cause of our organization as a whole. We also offer public recognition, written recommendation(s), resume creation assistance, and some exclusive internal perks.
