Math Circles of Chicago holds QED, an annual math symposium (like a science fair, but for math), on a Saturday each December for 5th to 12th graders across Chicago. Judges typically volunteer from 8AM to 1PM, and collaborate with a large group of math interested adults to provide encouraging and thoughtful feedback to more than 100 students. Usually a judge assesses 4-5 projects, and every judge has a partner. Learn more here: https://www.mathcirclesofchicago.org/qed
