    Volunteer Pre-Medical School Program Coordinator

    STEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

    OVERVIEW:

    Are you passionate about education and program coordination? We are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our committee and assist in coordinating logistics and programming for our ground-breaking medical school for students ages 8-17. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in educational program development while making a meaningful impact.

    Location: Remote – Work from anywhere with an internet connection.

    Duration: 4 months – From planning to event completion.

    Hours per Week: Approximately 4 hours – Flexible, with virtual meetings and independent tasks.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Assist in planning and coordinating program logistics, including scheduling and curriculum organization.
    • Support the development of engaging educational content and materials.
    • Liaise with instructors, guest speakers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution.
    • Monitor program timelines and ensure all milestones are met.
    • Assist in student registration, communication, and participant engagement.
    • Support virtual and in-person events, including workshops and interactive sessions.
    • Collaborate with the volunteer team to ensure high-quality program delivery.
    • Provide post-program evaluations and feedback for future improvements.

    Requirements:

    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Interest or experience in education, program coordination, or event planning.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Passion for STEM education and youth engagement.
