    QUICK OVERVIEW

    We are having an Adoption Event this Saturday, April 12th at the Petco in West Hollywood. Please sign up for our 1-3 OR 3-6 PM shifts.

    MISSION

    We are a 501c-3 dog rescue foundation dedicated to rescuing dogs, the day they are to be euthanized, from various Los Angeles shelters and placing them in loving homes. We do NOT take dogs in ... we rescue only from shelters. The Ace of Hearts Foundation is in memory of "Ace", a wonderful American Bull dog who was rescued from death, and touched the lives of many! (Especially founder Kari Whitman!) We rescue all breeds...and don't discriminate against any!

    VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Expect to help with take down and clean up for our adoption event.

    PETCO: 508 N. Doheny Drive (at Santa Monica Blvd) West Hollywood, CA 90048

    • We are there RAIN OR SHINE*

    Time

    1-3 OR 3-6 PM

    (event runs from 2:00 to 5:00 pm for the public)

    WE NEED STANDBY VOLUNTEERS

    As you may already know, we are always in need of standby volunteers. We like to have a list of 5 who are available for 2 weeks out. Can you be on-call in case we have an emergency that could be transporting a dog to the vet or new foster home, giving a dog a Freedom Ride from a shelter, or delivering medication or supplies to a dog in need? If you are available, please reply with the days and time windows that we can mark you down for.
