Description
Can you direct traffic? Load and unload garbage cans? Help vendors set up their 10'x10' pop ups? Assist in running kid's games and activities (WSP background check required)? Do you live or work in Federal Way and want to help LGTBQIA+ folks & allies celebrate PRIDE? We can use extra hands on 8/3/24 from 8:30AM to 6:00PM helping in all sorts of ways to provide, promote and produce Federal Way's PRIDE event. You'll get a fancy apron ID'ing you as a volunteer to use for the day, water and sunscreen and have a front row seat at the entertainment stage for the whole day! Plus you'll earn good karmic points from your favorite deity. No matter who you are or where you are in life's journey, you are welcome here. Send an email for interest and with any questions. If you intend to help with kid games, please include a background check form or completed background check no more than 6 months old. completed in 2024. You will be contacted by the volunteer coordinator the week before the event for confirmation of time and place.
