Marketing - Content Creator and Management

Lavanda is an LGBT+ Music and Arts organization bringing together Boston's Queer community events. 

We are very heavily focused on community, connection, diversity, and inclusion. We want to get as many queer folk involved as possible! We believe that the best work comes from connecting and learning from one another. Every member brings a different and valuable perspective to our team, and we're always looking for additons to our team. 

Please note that all positions are volunteer only. We are a new grassroots organization with a very limited budget and are looking for folks who want to join us out of the love of our community, to gain experience, and put on your resume.  

All Positions are Hybrid and most tasks can be done virtually. - You do not have to be in Boston to apply 

Description:

We have split our marketing department into two teams. Content Creation and Management. 

The content team will be graphic designers, content creators/social media personalities, and writers. These will be the folks who create the written, video, photo, and visual elements for our social media, website, and blog. 

The management team will be editing, posting, and managing social media content, blog, and website. You will also be reaching out to press and working with the content team to create press releases. 

Ideal Candidate:

If you are qualified in any of these areas or fit any part of this description you might be a good fit! We do not expect one person to do all of this. We are building a team of people to work together.

• Queer/LGBTQIA+, passionate about the community, and or ally
• Passionate, knowledgeable, and/or curious about sober community spaces
• experience in any of the areas listed above
• College student or recent graduate
