    Organization: Creative Emajinations (Non-Profit)

    Location: Kansas City, MO (Remote/Hybrid possible)

    Type: Volunteer/Part-Time

    About Us:

    Creative Emajinations is a dynamic non-profit focused on providing arts access to underserved youth in the Kansas City area. We are seeking a motivated volunteer to lead our communications and marketing efforts, especially as it pertains to building sponsorships, donations, and partnership opportunities. Your role will be vital in creating compelling messaging to engage potential supporters and elevate our presence in the community.

    Role Overview:

    As the Communications & Marketing Coordinator, you will take charge of crafting strategic communication plans that drive interest in our sponsorship and partnership opportunities. You will help develop marketing materials, reach out to corporate donors, and foster relationships with business leaders to secure vital funding. This volunteer role offers the opportunity to work closely with our leadership team for at least 3-6 months or longer to help ensure long-term support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement outreach strategies targeting potential sponsors and partners
    • Develop creative marketing materials, including sponsorship brochures, digital content, and social media campaigns
    • Maintain regular communication with prospective partners via email, phone, and social media
    • Organize presentations and events to showcase partnership opportunities
    • Build and sustain relationships with businesses, individual donors, and community leaders
    • Track progress and prepare reports on outreach efforts

    Qualifications:

    • Strong communication, marketing, and interpersonal skills
    • Experience in digital marketing, corporate communications, or public relations
    • Ability to create persuasive content for various platforms
    • Passion for the arts and community-driven initiatives
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively

    Commitment:

    This is a volunteer opportunity with the expectation of a 3-6 month commitment or longer to help strengthen and expand Creative Emajinations’ partnerships.
