About Free Fluency Academy
Free Fluency Academy is an American-based organization dedicated to breaking down barriers in English education. We provide free, online English classes to over 2000 students across the globe, helping them improve their English skills and unlock new career opportunities. Our work ranges from helping underprivilged students in Latin America and Afghanistan to helping our partner organizations in Kakuma Refugee Camp Kenya, Sharya Camp Iraq, Kara-kol Kyrgyzstan, Mazar-i-Sharif Afghanistan, Kayseri Türkiye, Shanghai China, Khujand Tajikistan, San Pedro del Bareqon Honduras, and Guatemala.
Your Role as a Volunteer Coordinator
As the ChiefVolunteer Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our mission-recruiting and onboarding dedicated volunteers who will help shape the future of our students. You will:
- Collaborate with directors to assess volunteer needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Design and implement an onboarding process, including training videos, forms, and evaluations.
- Recruit and hire volunteers to assist with onboarding.
- Promote opportunities by posting on volunteer platforms and using creative outreach strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in recruitment, HR, or volunteer coordination (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for education, language learning, and making a global impact
