We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Fundraiser Coordinator to help us raise the necessary funds to sustain and grow our programs. The Volunteer Fundraiser Coordinator will work closely with our board to plan, organize, and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies to support our mission.
- Help organize fundraising events, including music salons, auctions, and benefit galas.
- Engage with local businesses and community members to secure donations and sponsorships.
- Maintain accurate records of donations, sponsors, and fundraising event details.
- Work with our marketing team to promote fundraising campaigns and events.
- Craft compelling messages and stories to attract donors.
- Help identify new potential donors and create outreach strategies to build relationships with them.
- Collaborate with the board and Artistic Director to ensure fundraising goals are met and fundraising events are executed smoothly.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong passion for music and community engagement.
- Prior experience in fundraising and event planning is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing tools (e.g., MailChimp, Canva) is a bonus.
- Enthusiasm for connecting with others and building relationships in the community.
Time Commitment:
Project-driven. The time commitment will be 1-5 hours/week, depending on ongoing projects.
