Providing food for the public can be rewarding. Come volunteer to be a Distribution Assistant and make a difference in someone's life 1 family at a time!

The Distribution Assistant reports to the Warehouse Manager, he will direct you on positions as needed as a volunteer.

The Tacoma Dome Popup Food Bank is part of the Eloise Cooking Pot Food Bank.

Wednesday is our greatest days of needing volunteer assistant individuals and groups are encouraged to apply.

There are 4-hour increments.

Community Service Full Day 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Full Day 8:00 am to 4:30pm

Morning 8:00am to 12:00pm

Afternoon 12:00am to 430 pm.

Mid-Day 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Duties include but not limited to:

• Sign in, wash hands and put on plastic gloves.
• Briefing then positions instructed.
• Setup parking lot with cones, signs tent and chairs
• Employees off load trucks place pallets with pallet jacks lined up on the ground
• Inspect incoming food and food boxes.
• Pass out sign in forms to clients, then collect filled out forms from clients.
• Instruct clients to line up to pick up food.
• Put food into clients' trunks/vehicles.
• Pass out toys to clients with children in the vehicle.
