Behavioral Health Safe Use Kit Volunteer Event

Description
The Bridge is a non-profit providing mental health, housing, and substance use treatment to vulnerable New Yorkers. We will be packing safe-use kits for our Neighborhood Navigator, Outpatient, and ACT programs. These will include safe sniff kits, safe injection kits, and safe smoke kits. These kits are part of a harm reduction approach, providing clean and sterile materials for clients to use substances. For those who choose to use substances, these kits reduce the risk of infection, disease transmission, and other harms.
The event will take place on 10/9 from 6pm-8pm at our 290 Lenox Ave office in Harlem. Please let me know if you have any students who would be interested or if you’d like more information about the event or The Bridge!
