Volunteer Head of Events

Do you enjoy organising and working towards high standards? Have you a keen eye for detail and are able to work well within a team? If yes, we would love to hear from you.

We are now recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic volunteer Head of Events. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small events team as well as researching and reaching out to venues and negotiating to ensure maximum value. We typically hold 8 to 12 events per year culminating in December with our flagship Black Tie Annual Fundraising Dinner. This role is focused on the delivery of in person events whilst the Events Assistant will lead upon the delivery of our online event programme. You will enjoy project management and managing logistics. You will also identify and secure speakers and special guests and oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clearing the venue efficiently.

In return you will receive fully on boarded training opportunities and the chance to attend events on the Overseas Territories. We are a hard-working voluntary team working to enhance the public’s understanding and appreciation of our Territories.
