    Description

    The DOM shall develop and execute the foundation’s marketing and communications strategy to support overall brand growth, leveraging available resources and consistent with the Mental Health national brand.

    Responsibilities

    1. Oversee the development of collateral including event publications, annual report, newsletters, and others as strategically indicated
    2. Leverage the Foundation’s digital assets, including website and social media channels, to optimize brand awareness, raise resources, and engage various targeted audiences across multiple social platforms
    3. Promote signature events (e.g. Silent Auction, Symposiums, etc.…) to optimize participation and fundraising
    4. Develop and execute strategy to engage partners, including celebrities, businesses, sports teams, media outlets, and others to build the brand locally
    5. Oversee the internal and external use of the Elizabeth Gaye Foundation brand, ensuring all related trademarks and logos are used consistently within brand standards and expectations
    6. Proactively and reactively seek media coverage opportunities in traditional and nontraditional outlets in ways that advance the Foundation’s strategic goals
    7. Perform other duties as required or assigned.

    Skills/Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Management or marketing
    • Portfolio of successful marketing/branding projects
    • Ability to maintain effective cross-sector communication
    • Familiarity with current nonprofit marketing and fundraising practices
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • 10-15 hours per month commitment to EGF
