    Description

Citizen Diplomat Training Camp: Singapore-China Youth Dialogue

    Why Citizen Diplomats Training

In a world that is increasingly connected yet challenged by misunderstandings, citizen diplomats play a crucial role in shaping mutual understanding, respect, and peace across borders. This event is more than an exchange of academic perspectives; it’s an essential space where students become ambassadors of their cultures, building bridges and fostering trust on a grassroots level between China and Singapore.

As citizen diplomats, the students participating in this exchange actively contribute to diplomacy in their own capacity, outside of formal government channels. They represent their culture, values, and ideas, sparking dialogue that humanizes and deepens the relationship between these two nations. When students share their academic experiences and personal stories, they take on a unique responsibility: they become part of a larger, people-centered diplomatic effort that can influence perceptions, challenge stereotypes, and inspire mutual respect.
