    Description

    • Support the proposal development process, including responding to RFP requirements, content creation, budget development and collating inputs from various sources within the organization.
    • Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential opportunities that are non-competitive and provide a rationale for pursuing if relevant.
    • Work with the senior leadership team to draft a Resource Mobilization Strategy.
    • Oversees the development of donor and partner visibility and recognition strategies and plans in alignment with agreements and donor requirements.
    • Network and engage with private and public sector donors and partners, whose support is essential to/can assist in achieving the resource mobilization and advocacy objectives of the Partnership and Resource Mobilization strategy.

    Desirable.

    • Solid understanding of youth and community led development.
    • Graduate level degree in relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience.
    • Experience of advocating for more equitable funding practices to facilitate youth-led development.
    • Ability to proactively generate and co-create “new business” opportunities that lead to strategic funding.
