    Volunteer Opportunity in Sri Lanka

    Wetlands & Mangrove Conservation | Blue Carbon Research | Community Empowerment

    The EMACE Foundation of Sri Lanka invites international volunteers to join our impactful field programs focused on wetlands conservation, mangrove restoration, and blue carbon research in the Bolgoda Lake and river region, a vital and vulnerable coastal ecosystem.

    Areas of Involvement:

    • Mangrove ecosystem restoration and field data collection
    • Blue carbon research and monitoring
    • Environmental education programs for schools and communities
    • Community-based empowerment initiatives, particularly for women and youth

    What We Provide

    Duration

    Minimum stay: 3 months
