About Us: The World Roma Federation (WRF) is an international organization dedicated to advocating for the rights, inclusion, and empowerment of marginalized communities, with a focus on Roma people. Our work includes education, advocacy, cultural preservation, and community development. We believe in creating a more inclusive world for all and are looking for passionate individuals to join our team as Volunteer Fundraisers.

Position Overview: As a Volunteer Fundraiser for the WRF, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by helping to raise funds that will directly impact our programs and initiatives. This is a remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the United States. Your efforts will enable the WRF to expand its reach and continue making a positive difference in the lives of diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement creative fundraising strategies to support WRF initiatives.
• Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
• Assist in organizing virtual fundraising events and campaigns.
• Manage and update donor databases, ensuring accurate records.
• Collaborate with the WRF team to create compelling fundraising materials and communications.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring regular follow-ups and acknowledgments.
• Monitor fundraising progress and report on outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Passionate about advocating for the rights and inclusion of marginalized communities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in fundraising, sales, or marketing is a plus but not required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for virtual events and donor outreach.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
