    Description

    The Comfort Home Place serves, houses, and empowers individuals who have experienced domestic violence. We are searching for an impassioned individual to join our bard of directors as the Grant and Fundraising Director. The role would require a dedication of 5-6 hours per week with open time flexibility.

    Roles and responsibilities

    • Develop and oversee fundraising strategies to support the organization’s financial needs.
    • Identify grants that align with the organization’s mission.
    • Cultivate relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, and funding agencies.
    • Organize fundraising events and campaigns.
    • Monitor and reports on fundraising efforts to the board.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Proven track record in grant writing, fundraising, or donor relations.
    • Experience in nonprofit development or philanthropy.
    • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or a related field.

    While this role currently requires a minimal dedication of time each week, we will be looking to expand board positions into full-time, paid positions in the future.
