Communications volunteer education based animal rescue

Sanctuary Hostel is an innovative nonprofit startup with the goal of creating an eco-hostel that supports community-based animal welfare, to address the stray animal crisis in Mexico. Our model plans to be self-sustaining in that we will not rely solely on donations and thus not be at risk of returning animals to the streets. We have the land and architectural designs, and are currently fundraising for construction of the facility. As we continue to grow, we expect to collaborate and work with other nonprofits in both Mexico and the US to achieve our mission. Visit www.sanctuaryhostel.org for more details.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Contact companies about their pro bono services or discounted product offerings
• Connect with other non profits to form a relationship and ask for their assistance in promoting us via there network
• Contact organizations such as Rotary to ask if there are any programs for helping
• Act as an ambassador on behalf of Sanctuary Hostel
• Spanish speakers a plus
