    Description

    Community Manager/Digital Advocacy

    ●     Contribute to social media content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and JDWS Website

    ●     Research policy and advocacy needs of JDWS including and not limited to Gender-based violence, protection, humanitarian and human rights pertaining to the Sahel/Mali 

    • Defining and developing a community management strategy
    • Organizing various community-building initiatives to cultivate and grow participation in community forums
    • Developing and managing social media coverage for Instagram and Facebook
    • Creating content such as blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
    • Monitoring and optimizing community engagement levels

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong commitment to the mission of JDWS

    • Humanitarian or social service experience preferred

    • French and English language skills preferred

    • Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

    • • Experience and competence in working with diverse populations
    • You have a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • You have prior experience in Community Management.
    • You are a people person who can easily empathize and build rapport with others.
    • You have strong interpersonal skills and can build relationships with and influence stakeholders.
    • You have event management skills and can handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, evolving environment.
    • You are adept at managing social media.
    • You have excellent written & verbal communication skills and can generate impactful content.
    • You are organized and able to juggle multiple priorities and deliverables.
