    About Connect for Purpose:

    Connect for Purpose (CFP) mobilizes talented professionals within the Muslim community to contribute their skills to impactful projects. Through partnerships with nonprofit and community organizations, we aim to drive meaningful change and foster progress.

    Role Overview:

    We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Grant Writer to support CFP in securing funding for projects that uplift communities and advance our mission. This volunteer role is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact while refining your grant writing expertise.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify potential funding opportunities, including grants from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
    • Develop compelling and persuasive grant proposals tailored to specific funding requirements.
    • Collaborate with CFP leadership to gather relevant project information and align proposals with our mission.
    • Maintain a database of grant applications, deadlines, and funders.
    • Assist in preparing progress reports and updates for funders as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in grant writing or strong writing skills with a passion for learning grant writing techniques.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong research and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Alignment with CFP’s mission and values.
