Volunteer Head of Events

The Head of Events is responsible for establishing a rolling events programme for the Charity, managing the Events team and overseeing the delivery of events from concept through to completion. This role will work closely with the Communications team, and be expected to provide regular reporting on status of events to the wider Executive Committee.

As most events are held in London, this role would suit a person either based in London or willing to travel into London in order to attend and oversee the events. It would also be helpful if the Head of Events could attend those events based outside of London. Reasonable expenses are payable.

The Charity delivers a large number of events throughout the year including webinars, panel discussions, dinners, rallies, roundtable discussions and an annual Gala Dinner.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to work autonomously and bring fresh ideas for events and speakers. Through your wider team, you will also have an eye for project management and logistics.

In volunteering for the charity, you will receive training opportunities, the chance to attend a wide variety of events and mix with a wide variety of people, and the chance to attend events on the Overseas Territories.
