    Treasurer (Volunteer Position)

    HireLiving, Inc. is a career coaching and job placement

    nonprofit, 501(c)(3) in Duluth, GA. Our profits and donations not only put

    people to work but help them get in a position to achieve sustainable work with

    a living wage. We personalize their support, it may include coaching and career

    opportunities with other personal needs such as housing, food or counseling.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented volunteer to

    join our Board of Directors as the Treasurer. The Treasurer will play a crucial

    role in overseeing the financial health of our organization, ensuring

    compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and supporting the Board in

    making sound financial decisions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee the organization’s financial planning,

    budgeting, and reporting

    ·        

    Maintain accurate financial records and ensure

    timely reconciliation of accounts

    ·        

    Prepare and present financial statements and

    reports to the Board of Directors

    ·        

    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local

    financial regulations

    ·        

    Coordinate the preparation and filing of annual

    tax returns and other required financial documents

    ·        

    Assist in the development and implementation of

    financial policies and procedures

    ·        

    Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop

    and monitor budgets for fundraising events and campaigns

    ·        

    Provide financial insights to support grant

    applications and donor communications

    Qualifications

    ·        

    Experience in accounting, finance, or a related

    field (CPA or equivalent preferred)

    ·        

    Familiarity with nonprofit financial management

    and accounting practices

    ·        

    Strong organizational skills and attention to

    detail

    ·        

    Ability to communicate financial information

    clearly to non-financial stakeholders

    ·
