    Description

Grantwriter for Youth Urban FArm and Bike Repair Program that We are launching summer fall.

    Hi,

We are a grassroots, new nonprofit we got the Instrumentl free version for a couple of weeks and downloaded as many opportunities as we thought we might qualify for , but they need to be looked through to see which ones really do work and which don't . I've learned a lot of what is asked from us by this trial period and although we don't qualify for a lot of them, we still found a few.

We recently was approved a grant for $10,000 and that is huge for us! The range of 1000-50000 USD is the amounts we are looking for. We don't have 990s just financial statements (not audited) so it's not a lot to choose from as supposed to the typical nonprofit you will find.

The programs and projects are targetted for the local community but we do want to expand outwards eventually. Currently we are working on launching a successful pilot program of the 2 programs mentioned above. You can see https://cibusmission.org/youth-programs for more details.

We were got our 501c3 n 2023 and in 2024 were able to give away over 18000 food items, over 3000 hygiene items, over 2000 meals and helped 2 veteran families with care packages and gave away pastries to a Veteran/EMT mental support group and a Volunteer Fire Association group.
