As a start-up, we offer flexible roles and hours for those who are strategic, proactive, and results-driven. If you have grant writing experience and a track record of securing funding, this opportunity allows you to take on a leadership role while making a global impact.

    Role Overview

Creshendo is seeking a Grant Director to lead our grant-seeking efforts, focusing on securing large-scale, international funding opportunities. Key Responsibilities

    • Grant Writing & Submission: Write and submit strong grant proposals, with a focus on securing large-scale international and institutional grants.
    • Funding Strategy Development: Identify and pursue funding opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and international funders.
    • Team Management: Oversee 1-2 grant researchers who assist in identifying funding opportunities and gathering background information.
    • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure grant proposals align with funder guidelines, submission requirements, and impact reporting needs.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with Creshendo’s leadership team to align grant proposals with organizational priorities.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience writing and securing grants, preferably for international organizations or large-scale funding.
    • Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals.
    • Experience managing grant application pipelines, from research to submission.
    • Ability to oversee and guide a small research team, ensuring strategic alignment.
    • Familiarity with international funders, institutional grants, and government funding opportunities.
    • Availability to dedicate at least 8-12 hours per week.

    Why Join?

    • Impact: Play a crucial role in securing funding that sustains and grows Creshendo’s programs.
    • Leadership Opportunity: Gain hands-on experience directing a grant team for a global nonprofit.
    • Networking: Connect with international funders, nonprofit leaders, and grant professionals.
    • Flexible Role: Work remotely with hours that fit your schedule.
