    About Minneapolis City Soccer Club:

    Minneapolis City SC is a community-focused, supporter-built minor league soccer club featuring local players competing in USL League Two. We offer a fun, exciting, and unique game-day experience at Augsburg University's Edor Nelson Field. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, we are committed to supporting local players and giving back to the Minneapolis soccer community.

    Position Overview:

    As a Community Ambassador for Minneapolis City Soccer Club, you will be the face of our organization, interacting with fans, partners, and the broader community. You will play a vital role in fostering positive relationships, promoting our brand, and driving engagement at various events and activations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Community Engagement:
      • Represent the club in the community for example events, festivals, and soccer tournaments.
      • Interact with fans, answer questions, and collect feedback.
      • Collect fan contact information: Name, email, phone number, and social media handles.
      • Distribute promotional materials, merchandise, and giveaways.
      • Participate in community outreach programs and initiatives.
    • Partnership Activation:
      • Assist in executing partnership activations, including on-site promotions and giveaways.
      • Coordinate with partners to ensure seamless execution of activations.
      • Collect and report on activation data and metrics.
    • Events and Game Days:
      • Attend and support various club events and home games.
      • Assist with event setup and breakdown.
      • Coordinate games and activities, run contests and sweepstakes.

    Qualifications:

    • 18+ years of age
    • Valid driver's license
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
    • No prior experience required
    • Fluency in languages other than English (a plus)
    • Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
    • Ability to work flexible hours including Minneapolis City SC home games.
