Overview:

As an Event Volunteer for our non-profit dog rescue, you will play a crucial role in helping us organize and execute various events to raise awareness and funds for our rescue efforts. Your main responsibility will be to assist with event setup, coordination, and activities to ensure the success of each event.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, and signage.
• Welcome guests, provide information about the rescue, and answer questions.
• Help organize and supervise activities, such as games, contests, or demonstrations.
• Assist with event logistics, such as parking, crowd control, and cleanup.
•  Participate in event promotion and outreach efforts to attract attendees.
• Work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the event.
• Represent kiss my paws rescue in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with the public.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•  Willingness to take on various tasks as needed.
• Interest in animal welfare and rescue is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to attend a minimum of 1 event per month averaging 4 to 8 hours.

Time Commitment:

• Flexible, based on event schedules.
• Must be able to attend a minimum of 1 event per month averaging 4 to 10 hours.
• Some evening and weekend availability may be required, depending on event timings.
