Volunteer Medical Scribe

If you are an experienced medical scribe (English-Spanish bilingual strongly preferred) who has a passion for improving healthcare in the Latinx community, then Virginia Garcia has a great opportunity for you! We provide healthcare services to over 52,000 patients a year in Washington and Yamhill counties. Our vision is simple. We work to ensure that all people in our service area have access to timely, high-quality health services, enabling them to achieve the best possible health outcome.

The ideal volunteer medical scribe will be:

• Fluent in Spanish (professional/working level or higher)
• Experienced as a medical scribe already (preferably with the Epic EHR system but not a requirement)
• Able to volunteer on a regular basis (at least a half-day every week or every other week)
