    Description

    We’re looking for a passionate, results-driven Board Member to oversee our Fundraising Efforts

    • Experience in fundraising, development, or sales, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
    • Knowledge of donor stewardship and grant writing.
    • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
    • A commitment to South Project’s mission of empowering young mothers.
    • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently.

    Nice to have

    • Previous experience serving on a nonprofit board or in a leadership role.
    • Experience planning and executing fundraising events or campaigns.
    • Strong networking skills with connections to potential donors or community partners.
    • Knowledge of the local community and the issues affecting young mothers.
    • A background in marketing or communications to support fundraising efforts.
