    Job Description

    As a Volunteer School Auditor, you will work directly with our Executive Director to ensure educators are effectively implementing our licensed curriculum at participating schools and academic institutions. Your attention to detail and understanding of fundamental principles of K-8 education will be needed to confirm whether school leaders are maintaining high standards of instructional integrity and delivery.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    1. visit an assigned school(s) to assess the extent to which educators are using the licensed curriculum in their classrooms;
    2. observe classroom activities, using a given checklist to evaluate the implementation of curriculum materials;
    3. confirm that teachers have artifacts such as completed student assignments, assessments, and projects aligned with curriculum maps;
    4. record school administrators’ questions or concerns related to curriculum implementation; and
    5. enter data and information from audit findings into an online database for the Executive Director to review.

    Candidate Qualifications

    We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field;
    2. strong understanding of curriculum development and educational best practices;
    3. excellent observational and analytical skills;
    4. effective communication and interpersonal abilities;
    5. ability to work independently and with attention to detail;
    6. ability to maintain confidentiality; and
    7. commitment to promoting high-quality education and continuous improvement.
