    Social Media Manager: (Remote/Unpaid Volunteer)

    This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and contribute to making a significant impact on individuals' lives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement innovative social media campaigns to drive engagement and expand the online presence of Empowered Futures
    • Oversee content creation (graphics, videos, blog posts, etc.) and maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.
    • Lead and mentor a team ensuring alignment with social media goals and best practices
    • Performs data analysis to track engagement, optimize campaigns and provides insights and recommendations pertaining to engagement, conversion and brand growth
    • Cross-collaborate with Marketing and Design Leads to ensure strategic alignment and consistency in design standards

    Qualifications:

    • Post-secondary degree in Communication, Marketing, Social Media, Graphic Design or Digital Marketing and/or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a focus on social media
    • Ability to lead a team, think strategically, adapt to trends, and engage with diverse audiences
    • Proficiency in social media management tools and a strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, SEO, and content strategy
    • Excellent communication skills, creativity, and a data-driven mindset
